Olympic Rescue It Resurfacer Faces Dissatisfied Customers

deck stain olympic rescue itThe wood or concrete finishing product, Olympic Rescue It Resurfacer, is a hybrid coating product that combines paint and stain together.

While Olympic Rescue It is a popular choice among home improvement customers that want to coat over their concrete or wood decks, many complain that the product does not work or wears off very quickly.

Homeowners from across the country are coming forward, describing their experiences and demand that they are compensated for the money spent on the allegedly defective product.

Rescue It Complications

Olympic Rescue It customers complain that the stainer has forced them to reapply a coating to their wood or concrete surfaces, to protect them against adverse weather like rain or snow. Each of the customers reportedly followed all instructions on the product’s label, but the wood stainer still failed them.

The instructions state that the Olympic Rescue It Resurfacer can be used on concrete or wood surfaces, which must not only be stained but colored as well. This is supposed to provide a better texture and grip to the flooring, as well as fill in cracks, prevents splinters, and would ideally provide a well-textured finish to the surface.

However, many consumers have reported that the Olympic Rescue It Resurfacer started bubbling and peeling within months, which forced them to reapply the same or a different wood stainer. Customers have been forced to remove the defective stain before reapplying the wood stainer, wasting even more hours of hard work.

Consumers claimed that they have lost hundreds of dollars from purchasing Olympic Rescue It, along with other wood stainers to makeup for the failure of the initial stainer.

Olympic Rescue It! Resurfacer Allegations

According to Olympic, this product is advertised to provide guaranteed satisfaction to customers, as long as the surface is well-cleaned and it is applied according to the Rescue It instructions.

Olympic has rigorously defended itself from the Rescue It claims, stating that the homeowner was most likely at fault for not properly preparing the wood or concrete and failing to follow instructions.

However, experts state that Olympic does not mention that time is needed for the Rescue It product to work nor does the label mentioned how long the product is supposed to last.

However, the Rescue It label does state that the longevity of the product may be dependent on the condition of the wood or concrete. Customers and experts alike, complain that these statements give much more flexibility to marketing strategies, which exaggerate the product’s capabilities.

Furthermore, former Olympic Rescue It Resurfacer customers complain that even after preparing their surfaces, and following all instructions on the label, the product still failed.

Some customers have demanded financial compensation for the failed product and the time spent applying and reapplying wood stainer. Those customers have reportedly received compensation after complaining about the product, but the company did not address the fact that they had to spend extra time reapplying wood stainer.

Rescue It! customers who are not satisfied with the way Olympic has marketed the product have decided to take legal action against the company with allegations of false advertising.
